Tonight we had an interesting beserk.
We learned that on Tuesday nights, this fair city of ours, Adelaide, South Australia, is devoid of quiet, dimly lit, cafes, of the type referred to as "penny universities" in early 17th century Europe.
This was a depressing discovery because we just wanted a simple meal and some long, slow drinks, over which to discuss a book that Steve is writing on the pitfalls of religious faith. Perhaps a higher hand was at work!
We think not.
If anyone familiar with our city can point out some cafes or other hang outs that would meet our needs for nights such as this, email us urgently. If you're in Adelaide, we could even arrange to meet you at your suggested venue, to pass on the spirit of beserk.
